I'm a university student doing my last semester of Bachelor.
Most of my work is centered around reverse engineering old games, I've done ROM Hacking for fan translations of Japanese games to English, and currently I'm working on a sourceless port of Resident Evil Outbreak: File #2, as it's one of my most favourite games!
I'm also currently looking for a job, so if you're a possible employer based in the Czech Republic, or allow remote work, please do hit me up! :)
If you have a question of any sort, please do write it out in full in the first message, thanks. "Don't ask to ask", so to say. :)
STATUS: Work in Progress
Attempting to completely reimplement the entire game in C++ via reverse engineering the original game's code in Ghidra while adding additional quality of life improvements like support for higher resolutions, scalable UI, and higher framerates. Code is written in a way that it would require the potential player only to copy a couple of files from their legitimate copy of the game.
I also try sometimes to write about the internals of the game, mostly descriptions of used file formats and whatnot, which can be used as a reference when modding the game.
STATUS: Work in Progress
Script is being translated by Tom. A lot of work done making sure the game displays English text nicely, and much more has to be done in the future.
STATUS: Complete
Completely translated Japanese script by Tom. I've worked on the ROM Hacking: added support for a variable width font, rewrote parts of the game's code to correctly work with ASCII text instead of the game's original 2-byte encoding, fixed menus to fit the final English text, etc...
